Technical Operations Manager (m/f/d) for Wind Turbines
Description

We are looking for reinforcement for the wind energy technical operations management team at the Cuxhaven location (m/f/d).

The UMaAG stands for the energy generation of the future. We have been active in the field of renewable energy projects on the German market since 1998 and are an owner-managed medium-sized company with currently 57 employees at two locations in Cuxhaven and Oldenburg.

With nearly 400 wind turbines in over 50 wind farms, two biomass power plants and ecological real estate, UMaAG is one of the driving innovative forces in the development and implementation of renewable energy concepts in Germany. We also operate a large proportion of the wind farms we plan ourselves.

Responsibilities
  • Continuous monitoring of wind turbines
  • Communication with manufacturers, maintenance and service companies
  • Planning / organisation / deadline monitoring of maintenance work, inspections, regulatory requirements
  • Reporting for investors and operators
  • Analysis and processing of plant data
  • Alternating coverage of the TBF hotline for plant inspections and check-ins and check-outs of maintenance teams
  • Continuous optimisation of processes
  • Monitoring / Redispatch settlement / Direct marketing regulations
  • Optional: On-site inspections of wind farms / wind turbines
Qualifications
  • Technical understanding of and an interest in wind turbines
  • Optional: Basic understanding of electrical engineering, network/communication technology
  • Proficient command of the German language in both spoken and written form, basic English skills
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Excel / Word)
  • Use of MS Teams, general internet applications
  • Ability to work as part of a team, reliability and a sense of responsibility
  • Working independently and in a solution-focused manner
  • Integration and use of AI for process optimisation
