District solutions as enablers for the energy transition

Tailor-made energy, mobility, and technology concepts for entire residential and commercial areas – this is the principle of neighbourhood solutions from Umwelt Immo. For us, neighbourhood solutions are pioneers for the local energy transition. We develop holistic energy, mobility, and technology infrastructures. The goal of a neighbourhood solution is optimised electricity and heat consumption, the highest possible proportion of locally generated, renewable energies, and correspondingly low CO₂ emissions.₂-Emissions. In this way, neighbourhood solutions are building blocks for future-oriented urban development towards a digitised „Smart City“.

With our DGNB-certified project „Quartier am Medembogen in Otterndorf“, we offer energy-optimised renting and living. The district's energy supply is largely provided by a photovoltaic system, which supplies electricity for the heat pumps as well as cost-effective electricity for tenants via the tenant electricity model on offer.

Each residential unit has a green carport with an electric charging station available for rent.

The fittings are high-quality and modern: fitted kitchen, underfloor heating, floor-to-ceiling windows, terrace, generous walk-in shower area, bathtub, bathroom furniture, towel dryer in the bathrooms and much more.
